At NORDEN, we keep global trade moving. We are looking for a Head of Project Management to join our Logistics team in Copenhagen.
As Head of Project Management, you will be responsible for managing projects, which encompass both the implementation of new transshipment projects and the ongoing oversight of existing projects.
You will also be responsible for guiding the formulation and implementation of creative solutions that integrate cargo, ports, and individuals, thereby playing a crucial role in advancing global logistics.
What is in it for you
Here, you can blend strategic direction with direct involvement in project management and a commitment to practical transshipment innovations. This includes office setup, staffing, operational planning and ensuring that each project is managed effectively from start to finish.
While the day-to day running of projects is handled on the ground at the local office, your role in Copenhagen will be to oversee project progress, support the General Manager in Gabon where required and make sure that operations are continuously optimised.
You will provide guidance, share best practices and intervene when necessary to help local teams achieve operational excellence.
You will be part of the Logistics department, consisting of 6 engaged colleagues. Thriving in an international environment that frequently experiences change is central to this position.
We keep it friendly, collaborative and people-focused — a place where your skills are valued and your contributions truly count.
The task that awaits you
You will guide new transshipment projects from the ground up, helping to set up offices, build effective teams and ensure operations run smoothly.
In addition, you will keep a close eye on project progress, support improvements and help make processes safer and more efficient.
Working closely with colleagues and external partners, you will turn complex logistical challenges into practical, creative solutions — all within a collaborative and international environment where your contributions truly matter.
What you bring
You possess a collaborative approach and are skilled at clear, effective communication, whether with teammates or external partners.
Further, we are looking for a colleague who:
- Has consistently delivered projects even in difficult circumstances.
- Hold practical exposure to freight operations.
- Can be based in Copenhagen and is willing to travel as needed.
- Is fluent in English.
- Is experienced in working and managing different cultural backgrounds.
You might also hold previous experience at sea, as a naval architect, or working with transshipment vessels, floating cranes or similar equipment.
Application
Please upload your application, resume and relevant diplomas via our website as soon as possible and no later than 26 October 2025. We review applications and interview candidates on an ongoing basis.
We will do our best to get back to you at least within ten working days after the application deadline, 26 October 2025.
NORDEN values diversity in thought, educational background, and professional competencies and therefore encourages all qualified candidates to apply for the position.
