As our new IT Supporter the core of your day-to-day life is to ensure the smooth operation of IT systems, provide timely and effective support to end-users, and contribute to the overall success of the NORDEN through the efficient use of technology.

Further, you will work closely together with the rest of the team solving and managing day-to-day incidents and service requests from colleagues from all departments around the world ranging from onboarding to providing application support and solving IT issues on various business-critical applications.  

You will be part of the IT Operations & Service Desk team who are today 10 people. You will report to the Head of IT Operations & Service Desk.

The tasks that await you
More specifically your main areas of work will be to:

  • Perform the daily IT support for all departments.

  • Manage a wide range of business technical incidents.

  • Capture call details, and maintain the call logging software.

  • Create and maintain KBAs (Knowledge Based Articles) and SOPs (IT Standard Operating Procedures).

  • Purchase, setup and maintain workstations, laptops, and mobile phones.

  • Support desktop- and mobile software.

Your competencies and core qualifications
As a person, you take pride in building good relationships with stakeholders, and are committed and able to work on your own, while still prioritising the needs of the team. It is energising for you to work around both technology and support. And you want to build upon your competencies on the area and pass your knowledge on to colleagues.

Apart from this you have:

  • Experience with user service.

  • Experience with Office and std. Microsoft components.

  • A desire to look into the area between SD and Operations (projects and ownership of components).

  • Knowledge of ITIL and processes around IT delivery.

  • Knowledge of Microsoft Intune will be greatly valued
